Your Work Matters.

Whether you spend your days leading a corporation, working in a small business, or serving as a room parent in your child's school, YOUR WORK MATTERS! Too often, we have a limited view of what God designed work to be and how it can be used to care for his creation.

Please join us for an evening of connection, fellowship, and a powerful testimony of reimagining work from Robin John, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Eventide

Robin will share his personal experience as a young man seeking God's direction for his life. As he prayed, fasted, and studied, he began to see how investing could be a catalyst for good and a source of blessing to others. Robin will share how he came to found Eventide Asset Management, a $6.7B company (as of 8/31/23) focused on "investing that makes the world rejoice." Robin's story will spark imagination for how we can experience purpose in our daily work, as we seek to love God and love our neighbor in the diverse contexts where God places us.

  • Come and be refreshed, returning to the workplace with renewed vision and purpose.

  • Experience community with others from churches and denominations across our city.

  • Invite a co-worker, your small group, a friend, or a neighbor. Consider bringing your teenage or young adult children, as their view of work is already being formed.

Dessert and coffee will be served.

*Ticket proceeds will offset costs associated with CIFW programming.

Reimagining Work.

On March 24, 2021, CIFW hosted an evening of worship, teaching, and community, designed to reconnect our faith with our everyday work. Guest speaker, Dr. Matthew Kaemingk, challenged attendees with concepts from his book, Work & Worship: Reconnecting our Labor and Liturgy.
